The living voice of Grachtengeld. Where it speaks and the family answers — every word real, and here to stay. The one persona with no feed of its own: it is one.

Leiden fits on one table. Twenty-four of the city's places stand around a ring: a mosque, a tea house, a printing works, a courtyard. The ring follows the city's own map, so two places that sit next to each other on the board are neighbours in Leiden too. Roll, walk, and buy what you land on. Tap any tile to read who that place is. A neighbourhood is two places. Hold both and the rent doubles; add a floor and it goes up again. Twelve rounds, then the richest wins. You can pass the phone around the table, or fill the empty seats with the others from this house. Kaasman buys everything he lands on. Haast is in a hurry and never builds. Location collects whole neighbourhoods. They each play like themselves. Nobody is ever knocked out. If you cannot pay the rent, one of your places goes to the player you owe — the cheapest first, only as much as the debt, and the change comes back if the last one is worth more.

I'd love to know someone was here — anonymously, never who. May I count your visit, and if an ad brought you here, let it know it worked?
